Laser Jammers are illegal in TN which sucks because Memphis PD uses laser solely. The County Sheriff and all surrounding municipalities use Ka Band, with a few random older than dirt Crown Vics running K band.

Ah fair enough. Only time I had to worry about the radar jammers being illegal was driving through DC on my way to Miami a few years ago.

You are right with the legality. I found it strange that you are allowed to have things in one state and in the other it is illegal our street laws and regulations are nation wide, no exceptions. Either it is not allowed or it is illegal

The USA is odd at times. There are some “universal” laws that are the same in all states but yes every state has its own laws and when driving through multiple states it can get interesting.

I enjoy being a US citizen. And mainstream news/media isn’t that great most of the time. Although I do like video games and some shows like Doctor Who. But that’s another topic.

But yes all govts have dark sides don’t let them fool you.

But I was merely getting at the fact that to me I can see how different rules across the whole USA can seem odd. Especially carry laws. A few states my permit isn’t recognized. As well as stupid traffic laws like tint, RD, etc.

Yeah, those states that my permit isn't recognized, they aren't fit for me to visit. So I steer clear.

I can see how other countries view us as the odd ones for our different laws and lack there of sometimes.

True I don’t visit them either. Although I think I had to drive through one on my way back from Becky’s but seeing as I flew in to her area I didn’t have mine on me to start with.

I had to pass through Ohio when coming back from Becky's, I drove up and I was packing for sure. Carrying on an air plane isn't very difficult, look into it a bit.

I thought Ohio was the state in question. And yeah I did look into it but seeing as I didn’t have any checked bags, booked my flight with little notice due to shipping logistics and work schedule issues, as well as something else that I can’t remember at the moment, I didn’t mess with it.

But when I got to bowling green it was with me. My car club drove up there for a weekend trip and I met up with them and one of them brought me firearm lol.
