LT4 Supercharger Slanted Intercooler Brick Inquiry
Good Afternoon Camaro6 Team,
I know PWR has aftermarket LT4 Supercharger Slanted Intercooler Bricks on backorder and at a cost of almost $1600. One of my factory bricks developed a leak (not at the seal but rather the rear fin) and wanted to but a feeler out if anyone had a used factory brick who has already upgraded or could point me in the right direction. GM does not have a part number for the individual bricks rather they want you to buy a complete supercharger manifold. Thanks in advance! Ken |

Due to lack of response, I am guessing you have a rare failure. How were you able to realize the issue? Were you seeing stuff out of the tailpipe, was your circulation pump shutting down putting the car in limp mode?

I noticed the leaking Intercooler brick with a flashing check engine light that was diagnosed as a random misfire; I also noticed that my aftermarket S/C Coolant reservoir was constantly becoming low. When I pulley the S/C off and inspected, I noticed a large amount of coolant within the intake ports. Diving into the motor and pulling the Driver's side cylinder head off, cylinders 1 and 3 were almost filled with coolant. Could have easily hydro locked the motor as coolant does not compress!
