Ceramic Coat Before or After PPF?

I am planning on getting PPF in the spring, however I was planning on getting interior/exterior ceramic coating from the dealer.

They are charging about $1000, however if it would be more cost efficient to wait, I'll wait.

Thoughts?

I wouldn't consider ceramic prior to PPF, it just makes it harder for the film to be applied properly. Do nothing now, save up more money, then get a full paint correction, PPF and ceramic on top next year.

Sounds good, also I should be okay to putz around town a few days before putting her away for the winter right? I'll be picking it up on Monday, and I'll probably wanna drive for the week...

You should be fine, I would just give yourself a LOT of space in front of you when following another vehicle to avoid rock chips, I would also stay away from large pickups and Jeeps as they tend to have larger tires that pick up more...

Exactly. Whenever you see a frikken bro dozer, coal roller or just a truck/jeep with no rear mudflaps, pass them, shuffle to the left/right or stay far behind.

Yep, just went through this. Order is paint correction (if needed), PPF, then ceramic coating.

DON'T DRIVE IT AT ALL!! If you do, you'll never want to put it away for the winter.

One small extra perk of living in the South is we don't need to put the Camaro away for the winter, although I obviously leave her in the garage for the 2-3 frost weeks in Jan/Feb, plus whenever the township gets silly and sprays brine. At least it tends to get washed off a couple days later.

For winter storage, all I did back in the past was to 1) fill up the tank, 2) pump the tires up to 40-42 psi, and 3) put the car on a quality battery tender (Optimate 6). My last two garages have had plastic tile flooring, so I didn't need to put anything between the concrete and the tires.
