If you're building a new engine, I would get a cam for it. I was under the impression you were thinking of swapping just because you were going twins.

Yeah building the engine to support future plans for boost, boost prolly won’t come till maybe a year or so after the motor is built.

There is a lot of science behind the right cam for the combo. I would not look at splitting hairs with specs though. I would run high 240ish/250ish and get the dcr up in the 8’s. If you watched the video, the TQ curve follows too. Heavy car will feel faster with more TQ but traction is an issue. Bring the TQ in later and you may have a chance of traction. It’s a lot more than just a dyno number.
