I like them on some Camaros, and don't on others. Maybe by themselves I would ask why, if no other part on the car is modded. But with supporting mods, some of these wheel lettering look good...

Love 'em. If the kits weren't so expensive, I would have done it long ago.

Love em..my car my style my taste. If people go out of there way to tell me they don't like them (never had it done in person) I really wouldn't care. Just like if I don't care for something on another car I don't verbally tell em. Just rude. If I like something I will tell them. Would I do it on my next set of tires. Can't lie..these were kinda difficult to put on, somewhat of a pain to upkeep, and kind of expensive so probably not again. But I love em regardless.

wonder why they ever went out of style? you would think goodyear or some such would do it as a retro thing,if people didnt like it they could face the letters inwards.

I don't know why they went out of style but when I was 16 and went down to get liability insurance for the first time (and same year they made it the law in Oregon), I'll never forget that dour-faced old ass that came out of the Farmer's office to look at my 69 Dodge Dart GT. He did a walk-around the car with his clipboard and then with a face that looked like Hillary's after she lost the 2016 election, he frowned and muttered "Raised, white-lettered tires. Not good." And then checked off something on his sheet.

I think it is one of the best cosmetic mods. I have a Summit White SS and I used the Tred Wear letters. Mine show the manufacturer and brand like traditional raised white letter tires. To each his own, but I love mine.

Gotta agree with you Baseball, they look damn good on your SS. Sure wish tire manufactures would offer them as an option. Not ready to put them on my Z but maybe give the 2LS a little dress up.

White tire letters look awesome on older muscle cars that had 14" and 15" wheels from the factory.
Modern cars with bigger wheels/low profile tires should not have white letters on the tires...but that's my opinion.

Yeah those look good to me, because that's exactly what they are. Raised white lettering of the tire brand/logo can look good imo.
