Weight reduction for ZL1

When it comes to HP Camaro is easy to hit the 700s
yet weight is our huge down side.
I have seen many posts earlier about weight reduction. some ideas were realistic like removing the unwanted seats, interior of the trunk, lower weight rotors etc...
Some other ideas were crazy especially removing bumpers steel reinforcement and airbags which basically means getting ourselves into a moving coffin.
Let us please share some realistic/safe ideas of weight reduction. on the end it all depends on your usage of the vehicle.

I would start with:
- Removing passenger and back seat.
- Replacing driver seat with low weight sports seats.
- Removing trunk interior.
- Weld wheels
- LTH instead of cats and manifolds
- If you are in a cold region you can remove the A/C compressor
- Audio system
- half fuel tank on race/event
- reduce your own weight

Replace the V8 with a four cylinder engine, magnetic ride with cheap shocks, skinny wheels and tires, remove the cf hood insert so you can see that sweet looking four banger!

Just goofin' after a few shots of Grand Marnier. I like the way it feels like it's square from the drivers seat, demands spatial awareness. I think if it weighed 3000 pounds it would be less thrilling to toss it into a turn at twice the recommended speed. Super cool car!
