IAT / MAF / MAP sensors?

Going through all the electronics on my car and need some knowledge on these sensors.

Looks like mine currently has the Caspers breakaway harness that breaks the IAT away from the MAF. And I have the IAT installed in the intake tube between the throttle body and the meth injectors.

I see another kit by DSX that looks like it breaks away the IAT from the MAP sensor harness. In this setup it looks like the IAT is installed in the intake manifold just behind the throttle body.

Can't imagine there is any real difference in the placement of the IAT, but what about where they are wired to?

the breakout harness just isolates a sensor. It does not dictate where you put the sensor. both harnesses do the same thing (isolate the IAT from the MAF). It's up to the installer to decide on placement.
