Pads for 6 piston fronts and stock 4 pot rears

It’s about time to replace the pads on my 18 2SS convertible.

It has the 6-piston Brembo Performance fronts and regular 2SS 4-pot rears. (Although in matching red calipers.)

What are THE recommended pads for the front AND rear?

Compared to stock; I’m looking for LESS brake dust, equal or less noise, equal or somewhat better (aggressive) street/backroads driving performance.

I’ve searched a bit, but haven’t found the specific recommendations I’m looking for.

Thank you all for your time and expertise!

Unfortunately, you can't really get both of these at the same time. What pads are on it now? The OEM Ferodo pads from the SS 1LE on the front and the stock SS rears? Powerstop Z26 and other similar carbon ceramic pads will reduce dust but will also reduce braking performance, especially when they get hot. The opposite is also true; better performance will pretty much always equal more dust. Plus, if you have the SS 1LE front pads already, there's really no upgrade in performance without going to an all-out racing pad.

IMO, the stock pads offer the best balance of what you're looking for. Might suggest a ceramic coating or something similar on the wheels and calipers to reduce the amount of brake dust that sticks so you don't have to give up braking performance, especially if your version of spirited backroad driving involves heavy enough braking that you start to smell the brakes.

Z26 will be much less dust but reduced braking perf, too, noting you want something that's still aggressive. I would kind of concur with wheel coatings and staying OE/Brembo pads.

Thanks for the info. Very helpful.

It has the OEM pads that came with optional 6-piston Brembo fronts, and the rears are the same.

I’ll likely stay with the OEM pads.

I couldn't stand the brake dust of OEM so I went with Z26. Mine is a daily driver but I let it loose on weekends through the twisty mountain roads up here in BC. Haven't had an issue yet.
