Hey all, just wanted to say hi. I bought a 2017 Camaro 2.0T a few weeks ago and will be taking it to its first event in a few weeks. I started autocrossing about 3 years ago in a 2011 Mustang GT, then ran a Focus ST for the past couple of years. I'll be going straight to CAM since the car came with wheels out of street class already, but I was planning to go to CAM after a year anyway. Also, If I'm buying wheels, I might as well get the wide ones. Already have 305/30-19 BFGs square going on the car within the next week or so. I'm sure the first run will be interesting with the change in car size and all, luckily it's a test and tune.

Its going to be diverse this year for sure especially with the Zsupra and M2 Comp pack going into BS this year.

Personally I think the supra is too soft, but its going to be so much more nimble around course. M2 comp could be interesting.. Always the GT350 will be there. Hard to say honestly, all i know is this year I have the car I wanted to own, not "the one for the class"
Good to hear. I will be following this year with interest. Keep us updated on how it performs.

I really don't think it's thee car to have but probably in the noise. The 350 gets more camber this year with the handling pack and the M2C will definitely be interesting especially if someone figures out a way to get an 18" wheel in the front to clear the brakes. I've gotten a couple ride alongs in a supra on an autocross course and agree with you that's it's very soft and the transmission does some questionable things.

I've driven both at evo schools as an instructor. I'd rather have the Camaro other than the brake issues pre-2019 models. That said I haven't driven the 2019 GT350. It's probably in the noise enough I would buy the car I preferred.

I think I need more camber lol. No rubbing in the 10 miles that I've driven them so far. We'll see what happens when I get the weight shifting around at autox

Total knock offs. Vordoven something or another. Wasn't too concerned about the quality since it's just for autox. The paint is definitely cheap, apparently, when they were putting the weights on, they scrubbed it off by accident. I like the look of them better than I thought I would.

First autox in the Camaro. It was a test and tune, but had it been a points event, I would have won CAM. There's still probably 1-2 seconds left in it just from getting closer to cones, and being more comfortable with the car. Also beat a new Mustang PP2 on the same tires by almost a full second, so that felt good.

A bit laggy on getting videos recently, okay, I haven't been taking them the second half of last year. But here is one from February 9th. 2nd run group of the day, still a bit cool out, on Apex EC-7 19x10.5 et22 wheels and RE71R tires(305/30/19). 1st place in CAM-C and 14th overall in PAX standings(of 153 timed entries).

Here is my first outing with the new ZL1 1LE. The car is stock except for alignment, 18" wheels and Yoks. The wheels/setup are legal for Super Street, but locally I run with the CAM-C index because it's a bit softer. At National events I might run either class.

Very small lot and a tight course. I got greedy and late in a few spots but it was otherwise a decent run. Finished #1 in PAX and raw, the course was damp and drying for some of the other groups so I don't put much stock in that.

that course looks camaro painful! Heck, it looks better for a car that the amount of horse power your supercharger requires to spin! lol

That looks like PIR. OR region used to run there in the pro pits in the late 90s. Waiting to cross the track was not always fun.

Yep, it is PIR! Most clubs use South Paddock now since it has been repaved.
