Hurst billet plus issue - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I recently bought a Hurst billet plus second hand from a member on here and I'm confused as to how to fit the plastic collar back around the shifter. Not sure why it was pulled off. Does the shifter come apart somehow that I can't figure out? It doesn't seem to. I'm annoyed at this point and the seller wont respond to my messages emails. Any info would be appreciated.
