Zl1 1le. My airbag random exploded at thunderhill
It wasn't the first. It won't be the last.
I feel GM should start considering they have an issue with airbags especially if this happens with a "track ready" car. Did i catch some air? yes like 99% of the people going over the little hill. not a justification for this to happen. Especially cause was my daily of wife and son. you may want to consider to deactivate the airbags when on track. well that is why I sold the camaro for the GT500. alessandro https://youtu.be/XXrCThiHZKM |

That landing impact looked brutal, I’m not surprised the bags popped.
GM is notoriously trigger happy with the rollover bags. 5th Gens, CTS-V2s, and SS sedans were all susceptible. I’ve seen much fewer cases with the 6th Gen but it does happen. I would plan to disable the bags if tracking the car.

I sold the car. And no the land isn't brutal. It is only one tire lifted there. But again. It happened to people on the curbs. Or autocrossing. It is just wrong.
