Finally installing Magnuson 2300
I finally made the time to start installing my Magnuson 2300. I bought the parts months ago and just have not had the time to begin the installation.
I am installing the 2300, Elite catch can, DSX flex fuel sensor, Nick Williams 103mm throttle body, and a Roto-Fab Big Mouth intake. Last edited by 7LitreC5; 08-23-2019 at 09:49 AM. |

Enjoy. Mine with ported stock heads, cam, intake/tb, and long tubs picked up 190+ whp on straight 93.

I know you'll enjoy it and someday you can switch that one out to the new Magnuson 2650R and then you'll really ring the bell big time.

Made a little bit more progress today. Blower is bolted down and torqued. The left rear nut is a real hoot to get to. The intercoolers are now reinstalled as well.

Quick question for the gearheads... with the following supporting mods:
2.3" upper RF intake ported TM throttle body 1 7/8" headers with high flow cats and full catback What would be my expected WHP gain by simply upgrading the SC to the whipple 2300? Is there even a benefit of doing this upgrade if I'm tuned on 91 octane?

I’ll be following this closely. I am considering the 2300 as well. Would
Love to move up to the 2650 but money is always an issue plus ease of install is another factor. Curious as to how much HP you can expect from this without going with a cam? |

Check out Magnuson's Facebook as Mike talks about the 2650 that he put on his C7 Z06. I believe he made 740s or so and the motor is bone stock except for lower pulley and that was on 13 to 15 lbs of boost on 91 octane. It might even be in our FI section also. Magnuson vs Ebrocks 2650.
