That's helpful info. I don't understand how those 2000whp Calvo Vipers can run 19" Toyo R888R on the street and still hook when rolling.

I'm thinking of going with the M/T ET R P325/35R18 for my street setup and keeping the P275/60R15 for the strip.

Good idea to start a thread on this subject.

Same. I’m running MoTeC M180 ECU with traction control and controlling gear shifts (pneumatic) on the 6XD sequential gearbox. DSS 9” rear end. I’m still thinking I can put more power down with the M/T since it’s the stickier tire compared to the Toyo.

Thanks! It's been a long and tedious process.

Haven't raced yet. Car just got finished. Will quarter mile, 1/8th dig, and roll. This rear end and gearbox make it easy to re-gear. Goal was to build a fast Gen6 that is still streetable.

You’re quite welcome. It’s a killer build.

Out of curiosity, what is the new curb weight? On a good quarter mile run I’d guess you’ll jump right past the 8’s and hit the 7’s…!

WOW!!! Can't even imagine how you could hook up on the street with anything other than drag tires. I thought I had problems hooking up.

I need to ask Prospeed what the weight is. I know they weighed it to dial in the new suspension. We’ve made some changes since, so need to re-weigh it with me in it.

I ordered Toyo 345 yesterday. I put these 325 on it back when it was a 1.7L, but they now don't even work with TC on.
