What no* PDR footage of the off?
JK man glad it wasn't serious and only a bent rim out of it. Great thread so far.

Is it because of your experience? Or simply the more negative camber, the better?

both from experience and because tire manufacturers recommend at least -2.0 camber for track use (many suggests -2.5 or even -3.0). GM Performance supplement also recommends -2.0 F and -1.5 camber for track. It is very easy to destroy tires from the outer edges without sufficient camber

Thanks, I see. I'll see if the camber can be adjusted to -2.0 and -1.5 after I have the new wheels and tires on my car. What about driving on the street with track alignment? Will that cause problems on the inner edges?

I personally wouldn't mind driving with -2.0 camber on the street even if this was my DD. I am at -2.9 camber up front now. It may cause premature wear on inner edges in the long run but that would be least of my worries since tires will be long gone before that due to track use.

Hey Cem! Just curious; how many days do you have on your DBA rotors, and how are they holding up compared to the stock rotors?

Cheers,
Ryan

rotors feel and look pretty good after two events. I have to note the last two events were definitely warmer than the first two.

and here's how to OEM rotors looked after two events . I will take some more pictures after Wednesday's event

How wide is the zo6 flare add on? I'm curious to see if it would completely cover an 11" front.

It looks like it sticks about 3/4" (~18mm) from the wheel lip so if the 11" wheel is about the same offset with the Oem Z28 it should cover I think. That's with the -2.9 camber though and the bottom portion may poke out slightly

slicks and the spare set of rear tires (NT01-325/30/19) arrived. Pirelli DH slicks mounted on the new wheels

These Michelin tire bags are great They do a good job covering the wheel lips for eliminating scratches ..etc
