Possible scam member. I paid the agreed price of $180.00 which I paid on Saturday. Stated would let me know when the pads shipped. It’s Tuesday and I still have reached out to member several times and still has not contacted me since receiving my money.

Huh, very likely a scam :-( I've paid $180 too. Selling to multiple people looks llike a definite sign of a scam.

On the other hand, maybe WishfullSS is not at fault, maybe it's my stupidity. I've got a private message saying that this member is not active but you can contact him by email. And this looks like a scam, since now I've got FOUR of those stereotypical messages from:

SlTE ADMlN
Adacsdt


And a slightly different message from kevinstone095

Yes it’s a scam, the second two people have sent money it’s a scam. It’s unfortunate but the reality of the times, start getting your money back if you hopefully can

PLEASE use the report button located on each PM. It is the fastest and easiest way for us to get rid of them. Anyone with zero or one or two posts sending a PM is a scammer 100% of the time.

Who did you pay? Where did the money go? I still have the knee pads and will ship as long as I know how the funds will get to me. I have not had any contact with anybody who sent me any money. PM me and we can track down the scammers. I got sab123 post Saturday morning before lawman8 posted. I have not checked out the website since Saturday morning.

Guys, EVERY SINGLE MESSAGE THAT SAYS A MEMBER IS NOT ACTIVE BUT WANTS TO USE EMAIL IS A SCAM, PERIOD. If a member wasn't active on camaro6.com, why would they advertise their wares here in the first place?

I got targeted by these messages as well and couldn't delete them fast enough, it's a disgusting tactic. Very sorry about your loss, lawmann8, not sure if the scammer(s) can be found at this point, but if yes, they deserve to be punished.

Now that scammers have taken the money from two potential buyers, do I just close the ad? I still have the knee pads and they are still for sale. If someone is still interested please PM me.

I wouldn't close the ad. These are great looking pads, and if someone wants them, they should know to go through you and not respond to any other fake "sellers".

I've never seen anything like this before here where scammers would be hijacking a sellers thread. I would never deal with a seller or buyer that isn't just straight forward PM'ing between the original buyer & seller accounts, only pay through PayPal as long as you do a normal transaction then you'll have buyer protection if the item doesn't get shipped, then as the seller either ship through PayPal or upload the tracking # in the transaction.
