In, "Fate of the Furious," Dom teaches us how to make a "poor man's turbo." Basically, it's a piece string tied to the fuel line... then, while racing and going really fast, but wanting to go faster, the driver yanks on the string, which pulls the fuel line tubing off in such a way that it sprays gasoline all over the red- hot engine, thus making the car rocket forward at blinding speeds.

I only hope that when some Darwin award candidate actually tries this, that he only takes himself out of the gene pool.

A few years ago, I knew a guy with a 3rd gen Camaro that he lifted, added a transfer case, and turned into an off- road beast. It turned out to be one of those, "seemed like a great idea at the time," things that turns out to be not such a great idea.

He hated the thing, because he had not anticipated the hood length and seating position to be such an issue. For off- roading, one needs to be able to see the terrain going underneath the vehicle right up to just a few feet before it goes under... but with that long hood and low seat, the driver can only see what's quite a distance down the road, nothing close.

I never drove it... and he only drove it a couple of times before parking it forever.

Hahahahahahaha oh my god look at the overspray on the mufflers and the vents on the bumper just above the canards? Looks like they left the tape on it.....he slapped low pros on the wheels to get that poormans low without lowering springs. Ugh that fender gap. If he lost those elbows I'd not look so horrible but dear god the longer I look at this pic the more ghetto rigged stuff I can see

I'd have to look at statute but there has to be something outlawing that...
