My first camaro - 69 RS - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Early on I fell in love with th 69 Camaro's, like many I guess. However, unlike many I acutally went through with getting one and restoring it. I drove this car every day for 4 years, till I broke the rear end. Ended up selling it to buy my house 15 years ago (sound familiar?) Anyway, just wanted to check in and say the new Camaro5 is really making me think hard about buying a new car, something I said I wouldn't do again (I always buy 1 year old cars now). Hello to everyone and here's a pic- car was originally frost green (well, when I got it the car was an ugly blue). It was a 350 car with custom interior and fold down rear seat. I added the spoiler and cowl hood...now to resist the new Camaro as long as possible..

I'll have to dig the photo album out and scan them. I have a few burnout photos.

I didn't take near enough pictures though. Sold it for $7500 in 94, then saw it on a specialty car lot for $19k 5 years later...jeez....the only change was someone added SS emblems to it.

I had a 69 RS waaaaaay back in HS. The 69 Camaro with the RS package is still the best looking Camaro ever. Period.
