Shadow Grey Metallic- any photos?
So I missed the build deadline for a new 2018, which means round taillights and more importantly no Nightfall grey metallic!
I love that color and am a little weary of the blue looking tones I've seen in the shadow grey chips and samples, are there any pictures or videos of the color in the wild? Thanks |

Are you referring to Satin Steel Grey Metallic? I found this on the 2019 1LE thread

There is also a Shadow Gray, I have not seen a pic of it on the Camaro yet, but you can see what it looks like on the 2019 ZR1. Google 2019 ZR1 Shadow Gray
It's a dark gray similar to the Nightfall Gray, but it has a bluish tint to it, rather than a charcoal tint like the NFG

Thanks, I've seen the LA show video but was hoping there would be some samples in the wild
The lighter satin grey is not for me, I guess shadow grey will have to do |

NFGM is a great color with contrasting wheels. IMO the stock gray is too close to it and doesn't pop enough and tends to make the car mono-tone looking so I'd have to do black wheels on it. |

It looks great as in sleek/muscular but doesn't pop like white. I love mine, don't get me wrong. I had to literally flip a coin between NFGM and white. tbf the rear end does look very bland in white compared to NFGM.

yeah it looks really bad in that picture, deal breaking bad if it actually looks like that
I'm hoping it's less blue in real life otherwise I'll be getting a lightly used 18 (which sucks as I had a great deal on a new one lined up) |

There's many ZL1s available that are 2018s and sitting brand new at dealers.

I'm also concerned with getting a former 'lot car' after seeing the appalling state of the black ZL1 that reliable chevy has on their lot (next to my work) - the car was covered in thick mud, filthy and the paint was scratched off around the ring of the fuel cap If I get a brand new car I want to get brand new and unmolested by dealer staff |
