Zero traction issues

I see a lot of people saying they have traction issues. I have a 2016 SS M6 on stock rubber and have absolutely zero traction issues. With TC completely off in 1st I don't lose traction. NLS to second, little chirp. That's it!

Makes me feel like something is wrong with my car?

Well, I was referring to just driving the car in general, not able to lose traction. If I'm in 1st gear at 4k RPMS and hit it, I don't lose traction at all.

As far as launching, I've been able to launch around 3k, and timed 60 in 4.3, which I thought was pretty good. No traction loss.

Yeah....I'd rather brag that my Car has so much Power I can't keep traction.
Hope you find out what's wrong with your car......

When my car was stock, no problem with traction at the track. Of course, I have the A8. But now, we have a ton of fun at the track just trying to keep the tires from lighting up.

I remember when I first got it, it had no issues losing traction. (Car had about 1200 miles at it at this point). Car has 5200 miles now.

It's not like I want to lose traction every time I mash the pedal, I just find it odd that a car with 400+ hp isn't breaking the tires loose in first gear.

I'm not sure anything is really wrong with it...it hits 60 in 4.3, isn't that pretty spot on for the M6 Camaro? I mean, my 4th gen would break the tires loose in first, no problem.

I don't know if it makes any difference, but my car does have the GM lowering kit on it.

Yeah. I'm not quite referring to the track though.

These cars hook up really well in my opinion. My m6 will dead hook second gear from a roll. First, yeah not so much. It's been 80 out and the tires really like the heat.

Doesn't sound right... Granted different tires and suspension, but my turbo just roasts the tire if I launch it at 4k... I would think the SS would break lose with ease (if wanted)

Let me clarify. I'm not dumping the clutch to launch it at 4k. I'm riding the clutch for a second to keep traction in 1st (during launching). If I dumped it at 4k, it would spin all of first and half of second, I don't doubt it.

What I'm referring to, is if I'm at a roll in 1st gear, and mash it, I don't break the tires loose.

Traction is alot easier to find if your on the move. Even 5mph will be a large help. Momentum can be a game changer.

Yes thats normal, i have full bolts ons, on e85. I have lowering springs, motormounts , cradle lockout, upper and lower trailing arms and toe rod arms. With it being 75 out i can nail it from 5mph in 1st, nls to second and it chirps second. Thats in track mode with comp mode enabled. Now tring to launch the car is a different story..... i cant launch the car, i tried feathering it with launch control and i blow the tires off or slip it to much, i can let it out real fast at around 2500 to 3k and it spins a little. I dont even want to goto the strip because i can barelly get a decent launch on the street. Dont even know what to try at the strip. And i cant get a solid answer on here about launching a m6.

Yeah you're going to burn your clutch up doing that.
