Am I crazy or is this car kind of confusing?

Silver SS badge on the the front, but the rear looks like a red badge and the taillights... can someone tell me if those look like the RS tinted tails?

Manual trans, but has an L99 badge.

I was told it has a rebuilt due to door being hit... but I wonder if the whole front end was replaced by non RS parts with the wrong hood badge.

Normally a rebuilt title means major repairs and damage normally around 70% of the cars value or more. Just a door being hit is not enough to require a car to have a rebuilt title. There is definitely more to the story than is being told and since the owner isn't being truthful about it is enough to warrant staying away from the car all together.

I don't think the resolution was good enough to tell if the rear badge was red or white

I have a 1SS/RS L99 which the letters came in red. I didn't like the red letters on an IBM so I put the white letters on instead. Just my personnel preference.

It's not an RS car from the headlights, so the front grille SS badge is correct. No idea if the rear badge is red or not.

The L99 badge is wrong.

The LS3 nor the L99 have 500 HP.

Whoever's selling this car is either misinformed, misleading, or a dumbass in general.

so my thoughts are that the whole front end was replaced in the wreck, and replaced with the WRONG parts (not RS).

Sadly.... after months of looking this car would have been exactly what I've been looking for in my budget, lol. but its such a trainwreck my gut says stay away.
