You are BRAVE!!! Just saw this and I think it's pretty cool. I do wish the front grille lined up a little closer to the headlights though.

with all due respect and i do HIGHLY respect you for your mods. I have to do this FORGIVE ME
:notheadlights: Now with the jokeing aside i am in your shoes with less money. I mod my camaro to what i want (my deception theme) so from one guy to another doing it yourself mad respect . IMO i believe the two lights is over kill. I seen it on the Trans Am Camaro conspet and i did not like it at all. But thats whats cool about moding your car MAKE IT YOUR OWN HOW YOU LIKE. And i admire the work you do and the time and decation. Plus your passion for the camaro to do this. I dont know what it is about this car but it makes you WANT to mod it and mod it more. I always put bumper stickers on minor mods and the like. But never did a badge delete a full custom stripe kit or any other mod to the extream like on the camaro. And you doing this its something driveing people like us. And it all comes from this car called the camaro. It is a life changer for sure. Keep it up man make it prefect keep tweeking and fixing and changeing till its PERFECT. Will be worth it and i will be watching your progess Oh here is my car and my custom stripes in case your intrested http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...=1#post3597924

No offense but I really like it!
I get what you're doing. Not all of us here have an over generous allowance from grandma that we can blow on new mods every month. I'bve seen cars here on this site where guys blow more money in mods than the actual car and it looks like $hit. Then they come and criticize others for doing something unique that they themselves like. |

Thanks everybody! And yes Andy they are LED strip signal lights.
I haven't had a heck of a lot of time or money to work on the camaro lately. Just been enjoying driving it. I'm getting married sept 3rd so that's been taking most of my time haha. Mostly fixing up the house to get ready for all the company on the way. Thanks to all that keep checkin' in on the progress. I wish I had more to show you right now haha. I've got all the fibreglass and everything I need to make that cowling piece for real hopefull I'll get the time to do it soon.

One more thing to finish off the project. I just finished putting in some dual colour halos this weekend. I wired them up to be my turn signals. Just gotta reinstall the fascia and she's done!

The billet part is the T-Rex overlay grille. I took that and trimmed out the center section of the stock grille and nounted the billet in it with epoxy and a couple screws. So it attaches to the fascia just like a stock grille would. Then I made some little brackets to mount the bowtie. The goal was to have the billet grille without being able to see the stock one behind it. I'm currently working on the cowl piece to cover the edges and tie the lights in better. Took me a long time to figure out how to make it, but now I've got an idea that I'm running with.
Long story short, the T-rex grille is an overlay you can buy and bolt on. But if you don't wanna see your stock grille behind it there's a little more work to do.
