Video: No Lift Shifting; Headers with AWE

Made a new video to better pick up the sound with my new exhaust system. I took a lot of footage and made a concise video, includes some no lift shifting. Once you get the hang of no lifting the shifts are fast and smooth. It is hard, though, training the right foot not to lift up, especially when switching between cars. This exhaust setup is insane sounding: 2018 SS 1LE with KOOK's and AWE Touring

Did I just watch a GM commercial that should’ve existed? Nice work on compiling this 2 minutes of LT1 rumble!

Thanks, I wanted to keep it action packed with no dead spots. I picked up some new video equipment for this and should really get a drone for even better footage. Next video should be even better.

This sounds insane! I've been looking at getting some headers to pair to my AWE Touring exhaust but wasn't sure how it would sound, but you've sold me! I got a couple of questions though. Do you have the Resonated or Non-Resonated exhaust? Also, do you have any drone?

Non resonated and no cats, but only when on the track. I don't notice drone but hearing the exhaust doesn't bother me, drone seems subjective to me. It is loud, though, under all driving conditions and it seems like anytime an exhaust is loud people consider it to be drone. My 2008 Corvette has headers and B&B Bullets and the 2018 Camaro easily out does it in the sound department. With that said, I love the way the 1LE sounds and wouldn't change it.

To put it plain and simple if you have neighbors they will hate you with this setup. I had the same setup 2in catless (TSP) headers with 3in all the way to the back attached to the Touring edition. I loved it but it's not so fun when cops randomly show up at your house when the lady down the street complains on Facebook to them.

Aw man. I daily drive my SS and leave for work in the morning at 6:30 am. The neighbors say they love how it sounds with the non-res touring, but I think I'd be pushing my luck with y'alls setup. Any chance you could post a cold start?

I think the stock dual mode exhaust has a better sound. This is raspy as hell.
