Never been happier to own a 5th gen...

I think Chevy has really messed up here. Not only could Camaro sales go down even more, but I would expect mustang and challenger sales to go up. I think the market for pony cars is still strong, and people will buy them. But I can see people buying a mustang instead of a camaro just because of how horribly stupid that front end looks.

It's the type of front end you see on Japanese cars that Toyota or Honda has tried to make look more exciting than they really are. In my opinion, the front of a Camaro shouldn't look Japanese.

You seriously think the Mustang looks better?

I don't know if I would use the word better, but I think Chevy has screwed up more with the 2019 Camaro...

Everyone is entitled to their opinion & rightfully so, but mine is that the '19 refresh is a great departure from the 5th generation & an excellent evolution forward.
If Camaro prices weren't as insane as they are now, it would be tempting to trade, not simply because of the appearance, but because of the 6th generation power & weight loss.

Agree with the many here, GM has not done the Camaro any favors with the "new" nose redesign same with Ford for the MY 2019 Mustang...yikes guys like WTH. Glad I own the Gen 5, but that ZL1 1LE is a beastly looking thing and very track capable! I just can't stand the poor choice in the Gen 6 gauges and info center layout. Reminds me of the same disappointment I had when the 78 gauge layout was changed for the cheap looking 79-81 plastic. Ford & Dodge both have done a better job in this area.

I think its a step back.....the evolution forward stopped with the 5th gen. The car is far from going in a positive direction. I guess we will see if the refresh makes it even less attractive to car buyers.

In terms of appearance, 'evolution forward' & '5th gen' is an oxymoron, because the 5th generation was a retroactive model of the 1st generation. I believe it's been (superbly) done & it's time to move on.
