I think I finally got the right combo... dyno results inside !
This winter I picked up a set of FED stage 2 heads, and had a cam ground by TSP to suit my needs. Went with Cometic .040 head gaskets and Johnson 2116lsr tie bar lifters. Had to use 4 different length pushrods to get the preload in spec. Needless to say, I'm a happy camper!!!
Also, once on the dyno, my tuner sensed that she was thirsty for more air. Picked up 16 hp with this 5 inch intake.

You nailed the combination man, that thing has to fly. The intake tube looks bad ass too! Love the all Orange motor, reminds of the SBC/BBC days.
