Computer dudes.. need help

I need a screen for my toshiba laptop. I watched a video on the install.. it is very simple.

What I am unsure of is where to get the screen

Toshiba Satellite L300
Part No. PSLB8U-0LQ04H
Serial # - 59367811Q

Any help would be much appreciated.

Youre best bet is to call the manufacturer and get the part number from them. or take the screen off and look for the part number somewhere.

Good luck.

from what i have looked at, either the one you posted (which is pretty inexpensive) or this one http://www.sparepartswarehouse.com/T...000133040.aspx should be fine

Thanks for the info. I ordered the cheap one before looking back here. Is there a big difference ? Is the cheap one gonna be shit?

Most likely, that's why its cheap eh?

nah you should be fine, that replacement was the same resolution (1280x800) and size so it should fit just like the other ones, i just like to match p/n myself. i saw a good video on how to replace the screen, if you don't already have one.

go figure, I got the cheaper screen and for some reason it is barely bright enough to see..... BARELY see anything... It's going through a "system repair is checking your system for problems"

think the screen will get brighter when it's done?

Sometimes they may need to break in bit if you cam barely see it. It may be bad normally they brighten up a bit but not quite that much. Check the connection to be sure they are tight.

Hey jntarheels,

The part number on the back on my screen is V000120050 but when I plug my info into the website you gave me it gives me a different part number.
