Exhaust/Pulley/Tune

Vengeance Racing installed the mods below except for the TM TB which I had already done. Results: stock + TM TB 570.74 / 566.88
Modded: 644.47 / 689.03

Vengeance uses a dyno jet. The Camaro idles and is truly just as easy to drive as it was stock, but it will plant you back instantly and hard from part throttle to the red line. Power delivery is brutal but silky smooth. It is not choppy, no surge, no hiccups. The tune is just spot on. The exhaust is awesome. Zero drone and the most rasp free catless exhaust I have ever heard. Idle could be mistaken for a great cat back, not obnoxious at all. It goes to freight train roar when the peddle is pushed. Check out the full system from ARH, I took a bit of a chance since not allot of comparables, but the sound is excellent, no cats, LTs and all.

Finally, just a word about Vengeance. Quality, professionalism, really great guys who are at the top of their game and care about their customers, from mild builds like mine on up. Thank you David, Mike, Ron and crew!!!!!

did u go 1 7/8" or 2" headers?

Obviously we didn't buy these cars if worried about fuel economy and even carries the wonderful Gas Guzzler Tax. Think the A10 is rated at 12/18 MPG.

I have very similar mods and was wondering how bad the numbers would drop but content with "it is what it is"...

I can say "it depends..." ...on your right foot...
I drove my car ~ 300 miles to a 1/2 mile drag race right after my mods were done. Fully expecting my MPG to take a hit i was pleasantly surprised. I got 25.4 MPH with cruise set at 83. I was actually laughing out loud that a 750 BHP car could get anywhere near this...

While racing, i didn't even look but you have to make power with more fuel/air, so it HAS to be worse than it would have been stock. To me the extra 100+ hp well worth being able to beating stock Hellcat's, Z06's, ZL1's etc!!...Plus most of the time we are driving "fairly normal" and MPH is taking a big hit.

Since the tune will most likely be compensating for more air in (increased boost) and more air out (LT headers) I would say that gas mileage will be affected by the fuel to match the air ratio.

Did you ever take any videos of exhaust sound? When you say "full system", do you mean mufflers as well? I had ARH headers and X-pipe, but kept the OEM muffler.

I am going to post some videos this weekend. Weather has been all rain. I did full ARH system from headers, mids, mufflers, tips. Like all ARH products, very well made. The tips fill out the back better than stock IMO.
