Start with F skinnies or R Drag Radials
I kitted a 17x4.5- 28" M&H MMS-024 front and 275/60R15 (28") Hoosier 17317 drag radial on the rears. using Vision wheels (cheap) from Summit for $1500.
The fronts would save 14 pounds on the front axle and the rears would save 11 of rotating mass there. Which axle would you start with for a season? or even longer term- for casual street night drags. Bang for the buck question. Thank you.

why the tall tire? typically those using a drag specific setup are looking to drop weight and/or increase traction. i’d start at the back.

A 28 inch tire will kill you. Step down to a 26" all around to see favorable results on your car.
