KW V1 or H&R street coilovers?

Looking to get another set of coilovers.

The car is a daily driver and probably won't ever see the track or drag strip. If so maybe a couple times. Is the V3 overkill?

I hear great things about the V1's even without the adjustable dampening.

I want something sporty feeling, stays flat and hugs the corners (no bounce to the ride).

Thanks

A friend had, not sure v1 or v3, but for the street and have progressive rear springs, said ride was good and he is one of our top group autocross drivers. Also handles great. He now has club sports for his new z28, kicks ass on the track, but ride is no better then the stiff z28 stock setup, though he is still playing with it

Thanks for the feedback. Keep changing my mind. The latest I'm between the KW V1s and H&R street coilover? Both are within $1,500 budget. I really don't need adjustable dampening since it's strictly a DD. As long as the preset dampening is good. I hear lots of great things on the V1s. I was talking to 1 member about the H&R who also said they are good. Wish could find more reviews on the H&Rs.

Any experience on the H&Rs? Leaning towards the V1s only because more info and reviews.

I have the V1's and have a good ride and handling. They are a good coilover.

Thanks for your response. I haven't heard any negative feedback on these coilovers on this site. I'll be going with the V1s. The V3s don't seem worth the extra $1k for a street application. Like to get some HPS pads, SS lines and slotted rotors. Feel like the braking power could be improved on this car. I'll be doing both in next month or so.

I have a strong preference for the inverted monotube Bilstein B6 struts with either DSE or BMR coils or the RideTech coilovers. The RT coilovers deliver by far and away the best ride quality.

What Justice Pete said...Ride Tech. If $$ is an issue you can buy front or rear, install them. Then buy the other end when you have the $$.
