N2MB WOT BOX 2-Step, No Lift Shift and Shift Light Install and Review

Picked up a Wot Box on sale $169 shipped and have to say it is pretty awesome. To me it seems like a no brainer to buy if you have a manual transmission turbo car or really any stick shift car you drag race, It's features are adjustable 2-step, wot no lift shift and programmable shift light. The only downside I can see is if someone doesn't want to splice into factory wires. This didn't bother me and I already spliced into some way back when the car had a nitrous kit on it.

Install is straight forward and the box has 6 wires to hook up. One is just a ground, one gets spliced into the yellow wire on the factory clutch switch, one into tps signal at the throttle body and one for rpm signal which I got from passenger side coil pack harness. The last two get split between driver and passenger side coil pack harness you cut the factory pink/black wire to the coil packs plug and splice one wire for the input to the wot box and the other wire is the output from the wot box back to the coilpacks.

Two step works great and can setup what rpm to activate and change how the two step sounds by messing with number of cylinders between 8,6 or 4. No lift shift is great as well and finally have a shift light I've wanted for a while. Overall very happy with the purchase awesome little box for under $200

I had a local electronics cable&stuff maker do up a harness for me so I didn't splice into any wires. Yes, it is a pretty good box for NLS/simple 2-step.

Plus if you add a lag switch to this you can make tones of boost on the 2 step

No specific model number for the n2mb wot box (universal function).

Car is at the installer getting the new LSX427 power plant so can’t. But picture a plug harness that goes right before the driver side coils where the n2mb suppose to be cut and put inline the #1 spark. I didn’t want to splice or cut any OEM wiring so I had the harness made so all stock remained intact. Forgot what it looked like and what the plugs looked like, as it just looks more or less like regular underhood wiring. I know that’s not too helpful.

This is what I used, instead of splicing into the oem wires.

Ya, unfortunately you’ll likely need the schematics of the Camaro to pick where and what wire to tap into. The Corvette instructions are close.

Excuse my slow moments but I had a TBI while serving in Iraq so things are a bit harder to comprehend at times. But if I`m correct. (1) I cut the coil power pink/black wires in two.(2)Connect the red wire from the WOT box to the coil power in sides forming a Y. (3) Connect the orange wire to the other half closet to the coil pack forming a Y. (4) Connect the yellow wire from the WOT box to the purple wire on the #1 coil pack. I assume the coil extensions 760bowtie mention is the ideal way to go in case it needs to be remove. Thanks
