About 600 miles since the flush with the new fluid/ dealer TCM flash and the shudder is entirely gone. The 1-2 shift is a little clunky sometimes but I think it was always like that. I had another flush previously with the older fluid type and there was still some shudder present after, so this is definitely an improvement.

Mine is in today for the new fluid. I had a flush done about 3500mi ago with the "old" TSB, and it worked fairly well until about two months ago. I'm hoping this will handle it, but realistically I'm just waiting out the warranty at this point and I'll likely go with a circle-d and a TCM tune once the warranty is expired.

Took my car in yesterday and told them about the issue. They didn't even take the car for a drive and agreed to do the flush. Waiting for the call today to pick up.

Well didn't have the shudder on the drive home yesterday so hopefully its gone. They used the quart bottles as that's the part number listed on the paper.

Took mine into the local dealer. They send the recent TSB said to go ahead and flush without needing to replicate the issue. All said and done, car is driving great.

Got the flush last year, at 36K. Mostly ok since then. I felt it come back with a vengeance a few weeks ago (at 47K now) but it has been very inconsistent. I'm afraid that I won't be able to replicate it for the dealer service tech. Will have to ask when I take it for the next oil change.

So you didn’t have the new flush.

Do you have that TSB number? I felt what I think was the dreaded shutter yesterday and called the dealer today and he's insisting they have to test drive it before they'll flush it.

I had mine done maybe a month ago, so far it seems to be working but I do feel it from time to time, I still need to take it out and run it to see if I need to take it back in for another flush.

Would the TSB be on my invoice?

FYI to everyone, It was more or less stated above, but the latest version of the shudder TSB now states to go ahead and just do the flush if it has not yet been performed. This is good news, and what GM should have done from the beginning with this latest fluid if they were so confident in it.

It also makes it sound as though the factories switched over to the new fluid in February of 2019, so 8 speeds built after that date should be good to go.

Sorry if it's already been listed in the thread but any chance you can post the latest tsb reference?

Hello everyone!, I am new here to the Camaro6 forums. I actually experienced these shuddered everyone on this thread is talking about including the hard shifts, and delayed shifts from 1-2 , 2-1 regardless if left in auto or using paddle shifters. As well as hard jerking motion and clunk heard when transmission is put into reverse. After taking my car in 3 times for the same issue. Finally thanks to my new service advisor Dominick and transmission tech from Ryder Chevrolet in Northridge CA, thanks to their persistence finally got GM to fix the problem for good instead of these temporary fixes (fluid flushes, tcm relearn/recalibration). They replaced the complete valve body assembly, fluid change, and tcm recalibration. And as a result, wow! the transmission preforms flawlessly and shifts are all on point. No more shudders, hard shift, shift delays, jerking or clunks. It has now been 4,000 miles since replacing the valve body assembly and transmission is preforming as it should.
