Oldman supercharger cam sound
So I've designed my own "Oldman" supercharger cam... for all posers too old to race. It has a street friendly lift at .592 and mild spring pressure, pulls to 7200 RPM which is about right for a centri setup. Here is my near stock idle, stock exhaust with catted headers. Don't want to call any attention to my sleeper ridehttps://youtu.be/FYFU26L9gmI

Here is the forged bottom end before the Pray heads So I do like the sound of my "stock" exhaust.

Damn that sounds good! I want to be part of the under .600 “oldman cam” poser league!

I likey The other thing that tops my list besides a nice cam lobe is the smell of some fine race fuel Haha!

I'm have given up email tune because I can't hook the power to the ground sub 70 or 80 MPH with the oldsetup. I have to book a dyno tune and I'm on the fence if I do it in Austin, Houston or Corpus.
With the original Pray stage 1 cam .639 lobe zero overlap it would pull to 6800 rpm and be slightly off the power band 1st to 2nd. With this HUGE cam it pulls cleanly to 7200 RPM and there is no way to use wot on the upshifts 2nd or 3rd. 400 RPM on a centri comes out to about 1 PSI of boost through the entire applied power curve. Just some gross calculations, with the 4.0 pulley I should be moving enough air with a HP peak of 6800 RPM for say 800 to 850 engine HP. With the 3.65 pulleys I am getting close to max impeller RPM, the blower is listed at 1000 engine HP. When I chose the 11.5 forged pistons, I knew I would be octane limited to 800 ~ 850 engine HP, I would have gone 10.5 forged and a much heavier rod for HP above 850. https://tune2mod.com/products/wiseco...ecting-rod-kit Long story short, I have to edit my signature file again and put a 4.0 pulley. I'm on the fence on buying a C8 hence I'm spending less time and money on my Camaro.
