red knee pads

why is GM/Chevrolet giving 2 red knee pads (for center console only) for $350.00 but where as that the Knee Pad Interior Trim Kit in Adrenaline Red with Torch Red Stitching is $325.00 (for all four pieces doors/console)

I think its a bit of a rip off that GM/Chevrolet is doing that

and when you order the kit with the car you get the black ones with red stitching too. The red pads are shipped to the dealer seperate and the car comes with the black ones on it. same with black bowties. the factory putts them in the trunk and puts gold ones on anyway. dealer has to install the black ones. you get to keep anything the dealer has to replace LPO item. the dealers like to not tell you that. they keep them for you for 30 days and if you dont ask for them they sell them.

I understand that but the thing is that why Chevrolet is offering only 2 red leather knee pads for $350.00 where as the kit is $325.00.

My wife went to the fabric store and got some material. She made me some red ones. Total cost was $15

That is such BS that the dealer keeps your stuff like that. Mine came with red and I just bought the black alcantara knee pads because I don't like the red

My guess is that the console pads wear faster then the door pads and some people may just need the console ones. Pricing thought is a rip off. I'd just buy the 4 and sit on the door pads until needed

The $350 option includes the center console and the door panel knee pads. They're also factory installed and that's why they're more expensive than the accessory knee pads.

FACTORY installed? They just clip in place...I just had my complete interior done. I did not like the gray factory fabric, so I went with black, with red accents I also had the door and knee pads done in red. Weather permitting, I'll take some pictures tomorrow.
