ZL1 is Gone. Sad day

Well folks, my life has changed drastically in the last week. Getting married to my girlfriend and you might have seen some pics of her driving. But 3 cars and a two car garage is what it is.

I traded the ZL1 and the new Tacoma PRO for a new Z...

The Z71 LTZ 4x4 with the 6.2L engine. With 420hp, this thing scoots, but corners....not so much.

I will check back from time to time. I had some good times on here. There are a lot of great folks on here and I will miss them.

The new Z. The Z71 logo is more of the real color. The early light of day this morning does not do it justice.

I don't understand. Why get rid of the ZL1 for a truck when you already have a Z71 truck?

He traded the zl1 and his Tacoma pro for a Z71. I still dont get it, but not my choice. Id have parked the Tacoma outside the garage and let the new wife park her car in that spot.

Life happens man. From 16-32 I went from Camaro coupe, then Iroc-Z, WS6 Trans Am to having our first kid and selling the WS6 for a "family car". 14 yrs later (aka 14 yrs of daydreaming) finally found my way back to the ZL1.

Blessings to you and your girlfriend and your impending nuptials!

I don't park anything outside, especially new and/or $60k vehicle. Maybe some beater I would. North Texas has so much hail damage on a yearly basis, that almost every house in DFW have new roofs. It is hard to find a house that the insurance company has not paid for, in the case of my house with a new two year old roof.

The Tacoma PRO was brand new also.

i would have kept the zl1 and leased a truck and parked the lease outside. My truck and my wife's touareg tdi sit out but my toys are garaged (snowmobile, sxs,3 cars and an L4240 Kubota)

Seems crazy now but.. The kids will grow up fast and before you know it you'll be back in a sports car.

Very true.

My bit of advice is to enjoy your family and those moments with them, if you decide to have children they are only children for a short time in the scheme of things. There will be plenty of sports cars in the world when the time comes for another one.

Makes a little more sense in that case, but man you must have lost a lot just on depreciation of two brand new vehicles.

Now this would be ideal. Just sell the Tacoma and lease a new truck. At the end of the day all that matters is you're happy with your choice OP.
