Coolant or washer fluid??

Took the car out for about a half hour drive. When I got home and parked the car I noticed a orange color fluid puddle about a foot round behind the passenger front tire. I know the windshield washer bottle is located there in the passenger fender. But also the expansion tank for the coolant is in that vicinity as well in the engine bay. My question is could this be coolant or washer fluid? Is the washer fluid in these cars orange or blue? I don’t see any visible signs of a coolant leak though.

Ethylene glycol is the ingredient that makes antifreeze tasty. Though colorless and odorless, the syrupy alcohol derivative—which is excellent at lowering the freezing points of vital engine fluids—has a sweet taste that jibes well with soda, juice, and other sugary beverages

I think I narrowed it down to the windshield washer fluid. I spayed some on my windshield (duh) and wiped it up with a white paper towel. It smells and looks the same. Any ideas why the reservoir whould spring a leak all the sudden. I rarely use it.

You are correct. It’s been very humid here today. So I had the ac going full blast during my short drive. Along with a condensation puddle under the car, I’m also getting a puddle of that orange washer fluid as well. Very weird. I just can’t figure out why it would leak all of the sudden like that?

You can also get a pretty good idea if it's sweet or soapy from the SMELL (will be mostly scentless for coolant, more soapy for wiper fluid). Coolant can wreck you; don't taste test it.

Exactly...coolant is what will kill dogs and cats as they drink it because it is sweet.
Always clean up an spillage or leaks if you have pets.

Sounds like coolant to me. Coolant can and will overflow if things get too hot with a full system. Washer fluid will never overflow.

Its not hard to take the tank out. Jack up the right side of the car, take off front wheel, remove fender liner, remove screw in engine bay that holds the "neck" for the tank to the strut tower and remove the neck, on the bottom side unsnap the hoses and wires going to the motor, remove the three nuts that hold the tank to the body and it will slide out the wheel well
