I forgot the ZL1 has specific fenders so it is for panel alignment.

I just looked at my FIFTY and I noticed the rear pass "adjustment" hole is slightly walled but not like the pictures. I worked at NUMMI (GM/Toyota now TESLA) as a kid and I can tell you the rebots had some pretty nifty ways of aligning panels. Every car would go into final QC where all gabs were "measured" LOL. I am going to bit these holes were used by the robots to mount the fenders. Again just a wild guess. If there is a specific model and year say 2017 ZL1 from Jun-Aug build the machine was a bit out of whack and it cleared QC. Again guys I am just guessing. I have no idea.

This is what I always assumed myself, without any insider knowledge. So i just accepted it and said if it really bothered me i could punch and fill patch it in.
