2018 or 2020 2SS?
For a possible upgrade in the near future:
2018 2SS: + good price since it's a leftover + better looking frontend + preferred color + has all the important options that I want - possible automatic transmission problems 2020 2SS: + all the updated goodies vs 2018 + can configure more options than 2018 + fixed transmission problems (for now... as far as I know) - there's no color that I really like but I can live with it - frontend still worse than 2018, I have to see more of them in person to figure out how bad it really is for my taste The final battle in my head is transmission problems (2020 wins) vs frontend (2018 wins). Help me decide  Thanks! |

the Tranny is not the issue, it’s the torque converter. And as far as I know that is covered under power train warranty which lasts for quite some time, but if you want to fix the problem before it occurs then just get an aftermarket torque converter. Also my understanding is that the A8 has a higher torque rating than the A10, which might be something to consider if you plan on modding the car. And have you priced out a bumper? You would need new headlights too. It would be wayyyy more expensive than just getting a new TC

and more specifically its the torque converter fluid. I had the shudder in my 2018 A8 and after the fluid change its all good...so far.

Just get the newer one. the 10-speed is superior over the eight speed ..the rest is just cosmetic.

2020 Camaro because of the A10 auto. Much better than the A8! The 2020 front end doesn’t look bad at all to me but some people still hate them over the 2016s-2018s. You get what you want because you will be paying for the car, not us folks on the forum! Get what makes you happy and puts a smile on your face when you get in and drive! ��
