There is a 2018 ZL1 here in OntRio at a Chevy dealer. They want $79,999 for it with 1200 kms on it. There asking over msrp for a used car, wtf? I would be all over it if they were reasonable. Too bad cause it’s red and a manual.

Brand new 2017 4-cyl for $8k off. Hopefully an enthusiast scoops it up. I can't think of a better new car for $23k. For some reason you almost never see normal depreciation on closer to base model 6th gens. http://www.autotrader.ca/a/chevrolet...%202V7&sprx=-2

Thanks everyone! Yeah it's a fully loaded 2LT RS in white. 2.0L Turbo. Good luck finding a non V6 fully loaded on a lot. Their ad on Kijiji is for 38k lol.

So yeah dealership traps.

We'll see what happens I suppose. Thanks for the input!

Is everyone paying MSRP or what???
Tell your buddy to go see Marc at Jack Carter in Calgary.
They have a new 17 green 1LE and were ready to deal it for low 40s but on a cash deal mind you...

Ps I paid 47 for mine in Ontario last May zero haggling.
Did the deal via email. It was a dealer factory order. Msrp was 54+

Of course! Addison in Missisauga. Great buying experience imo. Peter Mauiri was my salesman but all the brass cane out to say hello when I picked her up.
A nice touch.

Agreed! Addison is great to deal with. I dealt with Sandra Marcinko in person.

I definitely didn't pay MSRP I got $5,000 off or so but I was cash. Took the loan through my bank. If you can hit it hard and not let it sit collecting interest for the next 7 years it's the way to go

Not even close! Bought mine in February of 2017 on a carry over 2016 SS and got 15k off msrp. I personally wouldn't buy a new vehicle unless it's at least 5k off msrp. How hard is it to buy one in the US and ship to Canada? There's a dealership by me that has a 2018 1SS asking 5k below msrp already

I am wondering what incentives there were if any around late 2015 when the 6th gen came out. I jumped the gun and got had without doubt.

Check to see if your employer, or your spouce's employer, is a GM partner/vendor. If so, then you will (likely) automatically qualify to buy it at "dealer's cost". For me that was a quite a bit.. I think $6000-7000 off a 2SS.

If you apply for GM credit card (which you can decline & cancel before it arrives), then you usually get additional rebate that usually range in Canada in between $500-$1000.

Hey guys,
Thinking about getting a Camaro. I really miss the old one I had. I’m thinking convertible this time. Nothing special...1SS, manual, silver, black wheels, and Recoros. Chevys build and price site says $54K and change. I would have to custom order this car as it’s oretyu specific. What kind of a deal have you guys been getting on 18s? Is it unrealistic to offer 10% off??
Thanks
