Wrong. It's exactly half a second slower than the 1LE. The Stingray listed below is the C7 Z51. The Grand Sport wasn't sent to Motor Trend for this competition.

THANK YOU FOR THAT! INFO, i won't feel bad letting my z51 go for a 1le now! but have to say the z51 does run a great time and is the next bang for your buck best after 1le

If you run on a longer track the Z51 will out run it.

You can now say with certainty the Viper ACR is an excellent value, but also that the GT350R and SS 1LE are on another planet in terms of value per lap time.

That's a very valid point. The GT350 and 1LE offer outrageous performance for an amazing price. People can say one is overpriced or whatever but when you look at the true performance numbers these two cars stand out.

Pretty impressive crowd of cars. The 350R and 1LE should both be proud for hanging in with those others.

Congrats to both Ford and Chevy. Those are the cars most "drivers" will actually buy. For the price of either one you can't go wrong.

I can't argue their point that the GT350R is better than the 1LE, and that's fine because my 1LE will cost about $40k less than most Rs haha nevertheless it was a good showing for ford and Chevy and a 4th place finish is amazing considering all of the cars it beat!
