V6 boosted opinions

Hi,

So im wondering what our v6 will handle or even be available? Are places coming up with boosted applications? Are these engines capable of boost with the right tune? I want to do something to my V6... since one of my 94 Z28s is boosted and love it lol.

LGX...We are in the Camaro 6 forums right? 2016 Camaro V6 is the LGX unless I'm mistaken?

Yes we are, but since there are no aftermarket performance parts available for the LGX, I automatically assumed you meant the other two engines. Much like the previous generation expect the same amount of aftermarket support the LFX got, but I see the lions share of development going towards the LT1, and LTG engines.

You might have to be the first. I would imagine it will handle as much boost as the LFX did.

The first time I opened my LGX, it was the first thing I thought "Oh look at the perfect spot for a turbo." It was like they knew or something haha. Well one can hope someone comes to market with one. i know id put it in mine.

I haven't seen much in the way of videos / info on forced injecting V6 camaros beyond the 2010 model. Perhaps no changes since then were needed so nobody made any newer youtube videos, etc. not sure.

I'm guessing what the V6 market needs is a supercharger that sits somewhere in between the no-name chinese ebay options and the > 1 year warrantied options that cost 6k before installation.

I could see maybe spending 2-3k for a boosted option on a V6 but if your only options cost 5-6k without any installation .... you might as well have bought an SS, because you'd be stupid to spend > SS money on a v6 that wont even make the same power as the stock v8 after being boosted.
