How are you doing cat deletes? Doesn't your state do emissions? Wont that make it throw codes?

In PA it goes by county, I keep my cars registered with my parents address so I don't have to worry about emissions. Correct me if i am wrong but all cars after 1985 have to have cats on them. So when i say cat deletes, i mean aftermarket non restrictive cats. Or you can put straight pipes on and switch them for inspection that is if you don't have the cops called on your first. As for throwing a code i believe you can just get after market sensor with a different resistance for when you get it tuned they can can the settings for the sensor

hmmmm, you pay less in registration too?

I report the folks that live by me that don't register their vehicles where they live so that they can skirt the system.

Nope, pa registration is $36 across the board. I don't however have to pay for the emissions test and sticker during my inspection.

Oh I see. In NY we have to have an emissions test every year as well as a safety inspection. The state machines read the vin right off your vehicle and monitor the ECU during the test so there's no fudging. I can still get away with it on my bike for now though.

Same in NC. I had gutted cats on my '99. I had Diablosport email me a tune with rear o2 delete. It passed readiness and visual inspection that way.

Interesting. Did you flash the ECU for that or is it through a tuner?

Used their hand-held tuner to upload the new tune. Just had to connect it to the PC to replace the modified tune it came with.

Nice! I haven't played with tuners and upgrades on a car since my old 7.3L diesel. Looks like some fun is in order with my Gen 6.

I'm talking about as shipped with carb stickers. I can make 725 at the flywheel with my tvs1900 kit on my G8, but it didn't make that as shipped. Taking a kit and upping the boost or altering the car in addition to installing the SC is a different story.

Look at the TVS2300 kits on the LS3. 700-750 at the crank is no issue, but they're no longer running a stock pulley on 6-7psi.

The warranty is through the supercharger manufacture. Good luck getting a new motor if you pop yours on the kit you installed yourself, have a custom tune on or have increased the boost for.

You're comparing apples to oranges man.

Call me what you will, I proudly report those who think they shouldn't have to pay the same as everyone else - PROUDLY!!!

there are all sorts of adjectives for those who would avoid paying their share...just pick one and apply.

I pay enough in taxes to motivate me in making sure cheats are handled accordingly.
