I think owners should be able to get a full aftermarket exhaust, of their choice, and GM should pay for it (yeah I know that will never happen, but it needs to be said). Is this issue only on the SS, or does anyone know if the LT's are having the same problem? I'm glad mine didn't seem to have this issue, that I can tell on my LT; knock on wood

Looks like the engineers screwed this one up.

Dealership told me they had a V6 with the same problem. Didn't realize V6 had NPP exhaust option.

I'm waiting to be told nothing else can be done until there's a recall and that's when the fireworks will start.

Is your fuse pulled for NPP?

Not yet. That just leaves the vales open right? (so it's loud I imagine?)

Good Job GM U.S.

You call GM Canada Cust. Serv. all I ever get is the response "Your dealership is the best person to help you with that".
Then they laugh at you on the phone when they see that you've made previous calls to the center.

It's pretty sad when you have to ask for help from U.S. sources to resolve problems in Canada.

+1

It's at the maximum loudness. I think I read somewhere that pulling the fuse helps dim the rattle.

I've posted some updates on my issue in the "Camaro Issues/Problems.." sub-forum. Essentially being told problem is "normal" (of course after GM has tried and failed to fix the rattle). If anyone has any recent updates in relation to the rattle issue would welcome hearing about it. In the meantime, I am thinking the cost of a replacement exhaust, as squalo suggests, might form the basis of a small claims court action! Will have to think this one through a bit before deciding next steps.
