Went for a 40 mile cruise through the countryside. Winter is fast approaching and I need to get it broken in before I put it away.

Decided to spruce up the interior. Always wanted to install aluminum pedal covers but refuse to pay over 50 bucks for what the aftermarket is charging for them. So was browsing Amazon and came across the OMP pedal kit for like $30. From the pics and dimensions, it looks like it could work. I measured my pedal covers and the go pedal and it was very close, so I took a chance and got it. I usually just make my own pedal covers but for 30 bucks, I'd rather buy it and modify them to fit. Anyway, received the kit, the accelerator pedal was a perfect fit, the clutch and brake pedals on the other hand did not. The pieces are pretty thick cast aluminum so they can't be shaped to the contour of the pedals without cracking. I had no choice but to make them myself and also made a dead pedal.

Those look great! I have the black machined aluminum ones installed. I forget who makes them.

Love seeing the home made stuff. Really nice work too.

Would this be dangerous if God forbid you got into a major accident? e.g. the seat collapsing?

Picked her back up finally from a 48 day slumber party over at the dealership (GM/UAW strike). Hope it's fixed

Upgraded my driveshaft

After snapping the stock SS driveshaft at the strip, I upgraded to the GForce Engineering 3.5” aluminum driveshaft. Install was straight forward and runs smooth as butter out on the street.

Did you happen to weigh them to compare?
