In my state, TTL must be paid within 30 days of buying a vehicle. You can pay sales tax at the county court house, then title and license at the DMV. Here’s a link to department of revenue explaining it.

Ive tried to make a few deals on 18 ZL1's and the dealers are out of their minds on trade in values... I get a dealer has to make money on a trade, but I have had offers from 8-12k below resale price on my trade(anywhere from 4-8k under NADA, KBB, etc... trade in values). EVERY dealership says "well our cars are so discounted that we arent making any money on the sale"... I have responded to each one with "your car is discounted based on GM incentives so your dealership isnt losing a dime." I hear crickets from them. There is a reason there are lots of cars sitting around.

Ive tried to make a few deals on 18 ZL1's and the dealers are so far off on trade in prices is insulting. I get that they need to make money on a trade in and am not expecting a full resale trade in offer, but the offers have been insulting(8-12k below resale price). The dealers have told me "our car is so discounted we just cant offer much on the trade" and i tell them "the car is discounted due to GM incentives so your dealership isnt losing a dime"... usually crickets after that or I had one guy get really defensive and angry at me and I asked for his managers info so I could tell him how shitty of a sales guy he had....crickets after that.

Buy a C7. There is a 262 day supply and it is growing.

The 18's are stupid cheap right now anyway. Cars.com has a ton in the mid 50's that were 68k+ sticker price.

Rjacobs is right on the low ball trade in scenario. I have a deal in the works on an 18, and wow they were abusive on the quoted trade value. We shall see. Think I would like to try an A10 equipped version.

I have looked at the C7's, but they are $20-30K more that the ZL! is. Dont get me wrong I would love to have a C7 Z06, but holy crap they are still big bucks.

New with 3,900 miles. Not exactly new if you ask me. Don't care if it's been titled or not.

Correct, depends on the state..I should have clarified for others. MO also has sales tax credits from other sales that can apply & or transfer of plates. I just wanted to state actual OTD for others apples to apples comparison.

Well bud,no need to cover your face. OTD includes TT&L. Your attempt at an explanation is even funnier. So you tried to explain away that OTD is 1 price and the TT&L you may or may not pay doesn't count for the total price. But thanks for attempting an explanation. And thanks for explaining every state isn't the same, who knew?
