what spark plugs for N/A?

Guys with aftermarket camshafts, what spark plugs are you running? 1 step colder than stock? 2 steps colder? Stock heat range? I installed ltr7-ix's when I did my cam swap and ever since the car has been running like crap with a bad misfire. Yes it has been getting tuned, just not sure where the issue is. Throttle response is awful, the car sometimes will die at a stop, it bucks, etc. Cam is a GPI SS4. Thanks in advance

I tried Brisk RR12's based on a suggestion from the tuner at dyno where I baselined, but my car misfired at idle and at WOT. I went with NGK 4344's after reading a bit on this forum, and the car has run well with them. For an N/A car, you can run the stock heat range plugs. I would not recommend anything more than 1 step colder than stock.

you dont need to change plugs until you go forced induction.

I don't think your car should be running bad with a 7 heat range even though you shouldn't need that cold of a plug for your setup. My car runs fine with LTR-7ix and e85.
