Who here has a sunroof and tracks their car?
Who here has a sunroof and tracks their car? I really want to know if anyone is having any issues fitting their helmet with sunroof? I know there have been some posts in the past that mention about not fitting. But could not find too many that mention that they are able to fit with no issues. Would appreciate any feedback.

5'9 and my helmet is against the roof. It's doable but definitely not the most comfortable.
To be fair, I know people without sunroofs that are taller than me that have the same issue. I'd say if you're gonna track a lot. Don't get a sunroof. |

I'm 5'8". With the helmet I have to lower my seat way down...almost too low.

Mine has a sunroof, I'm 5' 10" and just took mine to a track day. With the seat all the way down and the seat back a little more than normal, I didn't hit the roof.

I am just under 6' with a long torso. I fit just fine with a finger width of roof clearance if I lower the seat all the way and slightly recline the seatback. Open face helmet. This car has a little more room for a helmet than the larger 5th gens.
I love the sun roof. The car is too claustrophobic without it in my view. The CA6 Camaro is almost a Corvette with an almost usable back seat. If this is important to you bring a helmet to your test drive. Then you decide.

I echo all the above. 5'10", seat all the way down and reclined slightly more than normal. I would prefer not to have to lower the seat as it changes the field of view. However, after just a couple of laps, I don't really notice anymore. But when I'm done, I raise it back up.

I'm 5'4", PLENTY of room. But I also wear an xs childs helmet. Really hard to find them in any sort of neutral/adult color.

Yes I am 5'7 and also had to lower the seat right to the bottom in order for my head not to hit the roof with helmet on. I didn't like it all as I like to be higher for better visibility. I was very disappointed.

I'm 6'1 and i have sunroof and i track my car. I do lower my seat and lean my seat back just a tad but my helmet still hit the roof everytime I go airborne in the car so.. nothing i can do to fix that LOL. BUT my helmet doesn't rub based on my seat settings set to the floor but its very close I can still drive with no problems.

I had no idea the sunroof was going to be an issue for guys like me who occasionally take the car to the track. With that said I like the natural light that comes in from the sunroof. Compromise I am willing to live with.
