If I order these, is it best to get new pads too? These don't come with pads that I can see and I also don't see they suggest specific pads either

And to top it off, you get the joys of all the brake dust!

Just to be clear though the 6 piston is only useful on a race track where the bigger front brakes can absorb more heat than the 4s. The stopping distance given = tires is about the same. They do look VERY cool though.
Also my LT1 with 4s on the front and smaller on the rear will stop the same as an SS 1LE with equal tires at least once or twice in a row. But I will have to be careful on the mountain roads I love. And I have to watch out for tractors in the middle of the road on blind curves. As an aside I always thought the 4 piston in back was a bit of waste as to the added weight on the SS. The LT1 let's me try out that idea. And if I one day decide to go big with my LT1, I think I can fit 15s on the back with these brakes. Just an FYI, 9 second Camaros stop just fine with my brakes. Just no hot lapping.

Then you probably don't want to spend $2k+ and add that extra weight in the front from the larger rotor and 6-piston calipers...
