I'm 6' 1" and have never had an issue with my helmet hitting the roof while on the track, I do keep my seat down low and can just fit my fingers between the roof and top of helmet. Never had a problem in my 5th gen either.

6'6" had to have a car with no sunroof. There was no way I was going to fit a helmet between me and the sunroof. I test drove cars with and without.

I'm 6'3" and have no problem with helmet clearance. I am basically all legs though. If my legs were more in proportion to my torso, I'd be probably be undet 6'

I'm 5' 10" and I lower the seat a bit. Since I tend to move the seat forward when I track, adding a bit more recline isn't an issue. In my 2016 SS, I didn't have a sunroof and that did give a bit more room.

I'm 6 ft tall. with helmet on and seat all down and all back, I have maybe 1/2 inch of clearance. IT's fine for me as I only track it a couple times a year. The sunroof adds so much that interior that I think it is worth it..however, if you are going to track a lot, don't get it. My two cents.

I've only experienced 2 track days so far which was last year..so no neck soreness since then but In 2 weeks i will be going to my first track event this year and i will start paying attention to my neck if i do experience that.

I'm sure you've gotten your answer by now....
I'm 5'7". Short torso. And like to sit as close and as high as possible to the wheel....I love my sunroof but it requires me to adjust my seat to an uncomfortable level. Dungeon vs head room. I'll take a lack of head room. |
