is Bose Audio / Technology Package worth it?
I was just wondering if a $900 package would be a huge help.
It includes a wider screen (by an inch), more technology in the infotainment, and bose speakers. What are your opinions on those with or without it?

I have that package, and I think it's worth it. Not that the Bose is the greatest system, but it's definitely better than the base one in my opinion

The base one is easier to modify if you are an audiophile. If you are not, then I think the Bose is okay.
And heh, the V8 sound itself is music.

I didn't see much difference in the sound but the interface of the bigger screen looks way better than the base one in my opinion. And the car looks more "complete" with this screen. It doesn't look cheap. And you have that little LED strip around the strip that adds a little something.
To me it was a no brainer to get that option. I even refused a good deal a on a car that had everything I wanted except for the technology package.

imo, yes. I can notice a sound difference in the audio and the bigger screen is nice.

You're going to want the bigger screen. It's just not cost effective to try and upgrade to it aftermarket via gen5diy.

I’d go for it just for the 8” screen

What specific trim are you looking at? Is the Navigation option available? If so, that would be about half the cost if all you want is the larger screen.
Personally, I have never been a fan of Bose. Compared to the base system, however, it is definitely better. |

Yes, I have GM vehicles with and without Bose and yes, it's worth it.

The Bose system is straight garbage. I have it. I used to be serious into audiophile stuff (home system). It's not even half decent like the HK systems in FCA cars. But I don't use the speakers for anything in this car other than GPS guidance, phone, and news. I bought the car to drive for the sake of driving and music detracts from that.

^ I disagree. While the Bose is not the ultimate sound system the latest version in my LT1 is the best sound system I have ever had in a car with good sound separation and clear tones. Some times I sit in it just to listen to music.
Now was that worth $900? Not to most I think but it was to me. The larger screen seems easier to read at a glance. And the Bose sounds better in the LT1 than my 2016 2SS and my 2018 ZL1. As for the Recaros, definitely worth it. But a Yourmomshouse most likely would agree stock radio +$900 would get you at least a very nice sound system. But then there is the smaller screen. But what bothers me is my Recaros have heating and ventilation neither of these can be used with the "Technology" package.

The 7-inch screen kinda reminds me of a Nintendo DS... And that's not a compliment.
