I audibly gasped when I saw he died. A true guitar god.

65 is still young but he never seemed that old. I thought Van Halen was eternally 35 years old.

This one hurts. He’s been just a part of American rock for as long as I’ve been alive. Saw them a couple years ago, the last really big tour. Eruption is one thing on the record blasting out of your speakers but when you’re in the same room as the master watching him play it, *****mind blown*****

RIP EVH

I read that he blamed the cancer on keeping a metal guitar pick in his mouth all the time.

The 3 packs of PalMals/day couldn’t have had anything to do with it right?

Remember going to my friend's older sister's parties and hearing Van Halen II blasting. Was hooked ever since. RIP Eddie.

My all time favorite from my generation.

Was one of the 1st in my town to get the 8 track when it came out. Played it in my 1970 Firebird.

Yeah I just watched a week or so ago Breaking the Band: VanHalen. Was enlightening.
He had his faults, but we all do in some way.

Loved the music.
I think my favorite song is Humans Being
But I loved Jump and Panama and Running with the Devil.. there was a lot of good music made by this band.

RIP
