1LE Leather Steering Wheel and Shifter

Anyone else wish you could get the steering wheel and shifter wrapped in leather instead of suede? Would anyone consider paying to have someone swap them to leather - I assume that could be done?

I am looking for one of those DIY leather wrap kits that would cover the steering wheel. Suede does not have the same grip as leather.

How nice are they? I want it to look nice how the stock leather looks on other Camaros.

I'd offer it as a swap on the buy/trade section on this forum. Many SS folks would love the Suede and free swap for both!

Do a local only, and swap them on the spot (easy to remove/install)

I feel the suede has better grip. I love it.

noway would I go to leather! Like someone else mentioned, I am sure someone would swap with you and maybe even pay a little cash on top.

Nope. I much prefer the suede! I certainly wouldn't pay to change it back to leather though. I'm sure tons of non 1LE guys would jump at the change to swap wheel and shifter with you.

Nope, I love the suede. You can just buy a regular SS wheel and shifter for probably about the same as getting it rewrapped and it'd look factory.
